Diving Club Diani Beach -The Scuba Duka Diving Centre
With the diving club, you get the consistency you want, and our loyalty program rewards that. Members who dive often get priority booking, better planning support, and long-term savings. This is especially helpful during busy seasons like the December holidays when the demand for Diani Beach diving goes up. Also, a diving club member with 10 or more dives with us can request to be on our special standby list, where you get to dive at huge discounts.
This program suits all Diani Beach, Ukunda, Mombasa residents, or even any frequent visitors from all over the world who come to Diani Beach several times a year. The loyalty program turns scuba diving into a regular part of life instead of a one-time trip.
It is a quiet early afternoon at Soul Breeze Resort Hotel in Diani Beach. The tide is coming in slowly. A group of diving club divers are at The Scuba Duka Diving Centre front balcony, sipping complimentary freshly made passion fruit juice from the resort's restaurant. They watch their scuba instructor rinsing gear in the big outdoor rinsing tub as they talk about the morning reef and wreck dives. One mentions turtles at the Alpha Funguo Galu Wreck Dive Site, while another chimes in about how the visibility has improved since the winds settled.
That is what the diving club feels like. It is not just about scuba diving; it is about being part of a steady rhythm with the ocean and the people who love the ocean.
At The Scuba Duka Diving Centre, our diving club brings together locals, visitors, and returning divers. Some are working through beginner scuba lessons, while others already hold SSI or PADI certifications and are back for regular dives. What connects them is a shared love and respect for the ocean and a relaxed, friendly space to keep diving and continue learning. The Dive Club also goes beyond diving by always getting involved in conservation activities, charity events, local sponsorships, and several other local Diani Beach activities.
Visitors or locals who are scuba diving enthusiasts and are in the Diani Beach, Ukunda area, Galu Beach, Mwabungu, Gazi, Mvuleni, Kinondo, Msambweni, Tiwi, Funzi Island, visiting, or even coming from Mombasa, Nairobi, other parts of Kenya, or from all over the world are welcome to join. The diving club gives you a simple way to stay in the loop on all things diving and many other activities in Diani Beach, Kenya.

Local Marine Conservaation
We all Depend on healthy coral reefs!
It's that simple! Without the coral reefs, there is no marine life and no future for diving in Diani Beach. We can do something to keep the coral reefs healthy. The good news is you do not need to be a marine scientist to make a difference, but you can start by being an environmentally conscious diver. Our Scuba Duka Diving Club in Diani Beach takes conservation seriously and joining us is a huge step toward protecting our coral reefs. We organize reef clean-ups where our member divers remove debris from coral areas. Even small pieces of waste can damage coral or hurt marine life. We also encourage our members to take our SSI courses on Marine Ecology (you get a member discount) and Perfect Buoyancy because good buoyancy matters when around our fragile coral reefs. Turtle sightings during reef dives are a constant reminder of why protecting their habitat matters!
If by any chance you happen to be around Diani Beach in the month of June, visit us as we organize a beach clean-up and also around the 14th if you can you should attend The Diani Sea Turtle Festival at Diamonds Leisure Golf Club. It's an annual event.

Q. What is a Diving Club Diani Beach?
A. It is a group of scuba divers from every corner of the world who are registered with The Scuba Duka Diving Centre's Diving Club, who dive regularly, share knowledge, and take part in local land and ocean activities. The Diving Club includes beginners and experienced divers.
Q. Do I need certification to join?
A. No. If you care, you are welcome to join, and if you like, you can start as a complete beginner. When ready, we start you with Try Scuba course, and then you get to build from there.
Q. Is there a fee to join?
A. It's your lucky day! Currently, we offer a limited-time free membership. This lets you get your feet wet (literally). You get to meet the team, ask questions, get a feel for it, and then, once you're ready to dive in (not necessarily literally), we move on to the next step.
Q. How often do members dive?
A. As much as we want to take you as often as possible, it actually depends on availability and conditions. Also, the more you dive with us, the more opportunities you get. We also have a special standby list for these kinds of divers, and whenever we have an extra spot, we invite them to join at a member-only discount.
Q. Can short-term visitors join?
A. Yes, of course. Visitors from every corner of the earth on a short-term visit to Diani Beach are very much welcome to take part in club dives depending on availability and conservation activities.
Q. How does the loyalty program work?
A. You sign up, take the courses, and then rack up the dives! Once you clock 10 dives with us, you are eligible for the loyalty program, and that earns you priority booking and discounts, as the benefits grow with how often you dive with us.
Q. How does the club support conservation?
A. We teach responsible diving practices, organize and get involved in clean-ups (both land and ocean), and take part in coral monitoring.
Q. Can you help me find somewhere to stay?
A. Yes. Through our partnerships with local businesses, we can recommend places to stay in Diani, Galu Beach, or Kinondo that fit your budget and make getting to The Scuba Duka Diving Centre easy.
