Course Description

The SSI Advanced Adventurer program is designed to expand your diving experience and introduce you to a variety of specialty diving activities. This course allows certified Open Water Divers to try five different specialty dives under the direct supervision of an SSI Instructor. It’s a flexible way to gain experience in areas like deep diving, navigation, night diving, or perfect buoyancy, without committing to a full specialty course. Each adventure dive can be credited as the first dive of the corresponding full SSI Specialty program.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 12 years old.

• Certification: Must be an SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent.

• Medical Fitness: Participants must complete an SSI Medical Statement. A doctor’s clearance may be required for certain medical conditions.

Materials Needed

• Swimsuit and towel.

• Sunscreen and hat.

• Personal diving equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit) is recommended.

Materials Provided

• SSI Digital Training Materials for Advanced Adventurer.

• All necessary scuba equipment (BCD, regulator, tank, weights) for the duration of the course.

• SSI Digital Certification Card upon completion.

Duration

• Approximately 2-3 days (five open water dives).
